The Petrin Hill Observation Tower
From the “beach”, we proceeded to look for parking just nearby the foot of the hill in the city and walked up to a transport station. (Along the way, we passed by the Memorial to the victims of communism.) Tickets were bought, and in a while we were in a funicular ( a kind of transport on rails but helped by cables) which would take us up to the Petrin Hill, which aside from the Castle Hill, is the most known of the Prague Hills.
This is landscaped into a large park with an observation tower patterned after the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. From that distance, the spires of the St. Vitus Cathedral at Prague Castle could be seen. After walking around, though not much as it was getting dark and was beginning to drizzle, we had our fill of hotdogs (the last food they had for the day!) at their cafeteria.

When we left and took that ride back in the funicular, I wished to myself, I’d be able to be back there and go up all the way to the top of the observation tower to get a panoramic view of the whole city of Prague.
