the lighter side

…in any situation, there is something we can learn, for us to grow as a person.

Home Sweet Home!

Posted by mom811 on Thursday, July 31st, 2008

Oh oh… before the month ends I should already tell you I’m now back to dear “home sweet home”! After being out for two months, it’s an indescribable mixed feelings of joy, eagerness to see the dear ones left behind, urgency to do the so many things I’ve not been doing while away – and also a feeling of sadness for those left behind in far-away Prague (Czech Republic) and Pori (Finland). It seems part of me is left behind to be with them. Ops… enough of this sentimental mindset, we have to move on. Thinking that everything was – and is! – a blessing from the Almighty God is enough to cheer me up. Also, that He is there to see them through.

The internet has helped a lot to ease this feeling of concern especially for dearest cute who has been alone with baby C for a week, as hubby M is out to Uganda for a job assignment. (Everyday, we talk over the YM voice and we see baby C through the webcam). But not anymore tomorrow as her sis Carey (the love cute :) ) will be arriving. Yeah, she was requested by her sis Cookie (the first cute :) ) to stay behind up to the end of the month when we left Pori last July 15. I’ll have more posts about our travel, but in between I’d talk of many other things too.

    Hi Mom811,
:) Thanks for your EC message.. Been a bit silent in the EC world as sometimes it takes up a big chunk of my time.. I have a few other blogs that I update: http://www.gorgeoustraveller.com and travellerndreamer.blogspot.com and sometimes it’s a choice of either updating my site or dropping ECs. I enjoy reading your posts though :) and i was touched by your message. Hehe.. It feels nice to be noticed. Hope you have a great weekend back home!
    Cheers, Marie

P.S. Hope to see a bit of photos from Negros! :) I have been there about 5 times, and I’ve got a lot of friends from there (even an Ex, hehe) .. The city and outskirts, and Mambucal brings back memories ..

Hi Ronnie and Marie, thanks! sorry it’s only now i’ve opened this, i’m glad to hear from you. I’m afraid my updating will not be regular, much more re:photos, as i’m still dependent on this. (But when I can, I will…oh Marie, you can visit Negros again.) Also, i’m here in Manila, and only in an internet cafe, not like when one is at home, right?

We’ll just make the most out of the situation, and cheers too! :) God bless you both!
